When we set out to create the ultimate on-the-go bottle we knew the first step was to consult the experts. To make sure our latest bottle provides athletes with everything they need we consulted Annika Liehner and Lara Liehner, world-class cyclists from the Swiss National Cycling Team, throughout the development process of the SIGG Pulsar and SIGG Pulsar Therm. MEET LARA LIEHNER
Lara brought the experience we needed to create the ultimate on-the-go bottle. She was Swiss Track Champion in 2022 as well as finishing as 2nd Place in Swiss Road Championship 2022 and Swiss Mountain Bike Championship 2022. For Lara, hydration and insulation are crucial. “The Pulsar Therm is exactly what I need to stay refreshed during long tours. With this bottle my water stays cool even longer, even on very hot days”.
MEET ANNIKA LIEHNER
Annika is no strange to the trail. Her career achievements include a Swiss Time Trial championship in 2020, 2nd Place in the European Championships for Road Mixed Team Relay in 2022, with appearances in both the European Time Trial Championship and World Mountain Bike Championship. She emphasized that a lightweight design would be best, and seems quite pleased with the results. “Pulsar is light as a feather while still sturdy enough to stay safe on my bike. It’s my faithful companion, whether in the mountains or on the race track”.
